Service Pack 2 Upgrade to V2.00 of Boeing B314 - The Clipper

Version 2.0 (Service Pack 2) is a completely new developement of the aircraft for FS2004. It does not contain fixes, but new developements which can be used in FS2004 only. Therefore, if you still use FS2002, you can not use Service Pack 2. Here is a part of the list of features:

1) HotFix 1 Changes implemented
    a) Flight Model amended for FS2004
    b) Startup Smoke Effect introduced (not possible in FS2002)
    c) Previously used generic Startup Smoke Effect resetted to default values
    d) Improved Engine Smoke Effect on rich mixture (high FF)

2) Completely new Visual Model:
    a) Much more details in VC
    b) FanBlades visible from VC
    c) Rain on windows visible from VC (grafic card/driver dependent!)
    d) clickable VC (where it made sense! We did NOT introduce clickable surfaces
        where you need to have the 2D window open anyway!)
    e) added "Dynamic Shine"

3) Various other FS2004 related amendments which improve usability

4) implemented scenery.cfg fix.

5) One step installation. No more patches, which were released before July 1st 2004.

Upgrade Policy:

If you have bought Boeing B314 - The Clipper on and after May 1st 2004 (Online Version and CD Version):

Online Versions are delivered as V2.0 since this date. So you should already have been able to download V2.0.

If you buy the CD Version in our shop, you will of course get V2.0 shipped to your address. Certain retailers also do offer free upgrades with purchases in their shops. All Boxes of V1.0 have been recalled from the shelves long ago and they will soon be replaced with new boxes of V2.0. 

Elegible users of the Online Download Version have been contacted by us on the emailaddress they used when purchasing Boeing B314 - The Clipper at simmarket.com.

Users of the CD Version need to register here and send (email, pdf, fax, mail) us a proof of purchase which clearly shows the purchase date. Elegible users which purchased  through this site will receive the Upgrade CD without further notice on an automated base.

If you have bought Boeing B314 - The Clipper before May 1st 2004 or at any other source, which does not offer any upgrade (CD Version):

You are entitled to an upgrade at the price of Euro 10.-- incl. standard shipping. VAT and charges for shipping upgrades apply.

You can order it through our Orderspage (secure) here. It will be delivered on CD-ROM only and will include a new installer, which features a "one-setup-only" installation. So, no more patches, etc. It will, however, work only, if you have your original CD ready at hand.

If you have bought Boeing B314 - The Clipper before May 1st 2004 (Online Version):

You are entitled to an upgrade at the price of Euro 10.--.

You need to log onto your account at simmarket.com and will be presented the reduced price (from July 2nd 2004), if you have purchased Boeing B314 - The Clipper previously.

It is NOT possible to crossgrade here. So, if you own the Online Version you MUST upgrade via simmarket.com and if you own the CD-Version you MUST order through here. (secure) If you already placed your order before (not on) July 1st 2004 via this site, your order will be handled as appropriate. This means, if you own the CD Version, you will receive the files for the CD version, if you own the Online Version, you will receive the files fore the Online Version. So rest assured.
